OverRice was born in Orlando, Fl in 2011, and is a mix of Filipino and Hawaiian food.
Our beloved Filipino founder decided to move to Maui after graduating from college in 1996, where he lived for 10 years. While living on Maui, he found himself falling in love with the idea of Plate Lunches. With the passion and the inspiration of his years living in Hawaii, later on the idea of OverRice was born.
From the very first day, our intention was to offer each and every one of our customers an experience they deserve from a fresh and delicious meal. And others who identify with these roots, to bring them a piece of their home.
Hence our slogan“Always fresh, Always from the heart“ .
Today we offer our services around town at farmers markets, caterings, and special events. We always do our best to satisfy our customers by providing excellent and personalized service. Regardless of the occasion, whether it be a wedding, birthday party, or a luau themed event, we seek to bring you a memorable experience.
